An extremely rewarding return to the sphere of editorial design. The result was a publication 3 times larger than the initial estimate and much more engaging, using more illustrations and infographics to facilitate understanding.

Context
In 2013, the Platform Design Toolkit was introduced, setting the stage for a transformative journey in how organizations and products are conceived and designed. By October 2016, a major milestone was achieved with the release of the Platform Design Toolkit 2.0 and an associated White Paper titled "From Business Modeling to Platform Design."
This marked a pivotal moment for the company and I joined the team shortly after the release in December 2016. Over time, the toolkit gained worldwide recognition, fostering a global community of over 60,000 users.
As the person responsible for the design side of the project, my role was pivotal in shaping the visual aspects of the White Paper and associated materials. While not directly involved in research, I played a critical role in crafting the design and user experience of the project.
The task was to create a comprehensive and visually engaging White Paper that addressed the evolving context and scope of platform ecosystem thinking. This effort was captured and released under a Creative Commons license, reflecting our commitment to collaboration and the co-creation of the future of organizations and business models.
Meticulously crafted the design of the White Paper, ensuring that the visual aspects were both engaging and in alignment with the project's goals.
Created insightful infographics to enhance the understanding of complex concepts, making it easier for readers to grasp key ideas presented in the White Paper.
Designed and developed a dedicated marketing website to promote the White Paper, serving as a hub for accessing the content and engaging with our audience.
In addition to traditional brand collateral, I designed materials for the associated podcast, maintaining a consistent and compelling visual identity across all related materials.
The release of "New Foundations of Platform and Ecosystem Thinking" marked a significant achievement.
It provided a comprehensive guide for navigating the evolving landscape of organizations and business models in an unpredictable world characterized by new socioeconomic trends and global risk factors. The White Paper, shared under a Creative Commons license, encouraged collaborative efforts and participation from a diverse audience.
This project solidified Boundaryless' position as a thought leader in the realm of Platform Ecosystems, having engaged with organizations of various sizes and global significance. The White Paper's design, infographics, marketing website, and brand collateral, including podcast materials, collectively contributed to the success of this endeavor, enabling us to share our vision and insights with a wider audience.
It was not just a project; it was a statement of our commitment to shaping the future of organizations and business models in a rapidly changing world.
